Contoh narrative text

 SMART PARROT
Once upon time, a man had a wonderful parrot. There was no other parrot like it. The parrot could say every word, except one word.
The parrot would not say the name of the place where it was born. The name of the place was Catano. The man felt excited having
 the smartest parrot but he could not understand why the parrot would not say Catano. The man tried to teach the bird to say Catano
 however the bird kept not saying the word.

At the first, the man was very nice to the bird but then he got very angry. “You stupid bird!” pointed the man to the parrot.
 “Why can’t you say the word? Say Catano! Or I will kill you” the man said angrily. Although he tried hard to teach, the parrot would not say it.
 Then the man got so angry and shouted to the bird over and over; “Say Catano or I’ll kill you”. The bird kept not to say the word of Catano.

One day, after he had been trying so many times to make the bird say Catano, the man really got very angry.
He could not bear it. He picked the parrot and threw it into the chicken house. There were four old chickens for next dinner
 “You are as stupid as the chickens. Just stay with them” Said the man angrily. Then he continued to humble;
 “You know, I will cut the chicken for my meal. Next it will be your turn, I will eat you too, stupid parrot”. After that he left the chicken house.

The next day, the man came back to the chicken house. He opened the door and was very surprised. He could not believe
what he saw at the chicken house. There were three death chickens on the floor. At the moment, the parrot was standing proudly and
screaming at the last old chicken; “Say Catano or I’ll kill you”.




Magic Pear
The market was filled with merchants selling fresh groceries. The fishmonger had crab and bass as the catch of the day. The chef was cooking soft and delicious noodles in a variety of sauces. One farmer had the brightest grens, while another had the sweetest pears. Hustle and bustle, the market was filled with activity.
A beggar entered the market, holding out his hand, hoping for a coin or two. The shopper and merchants ignored him as he passed the food bins. He stopped in front of the merchant’s cart. “Please, sir, you have so many pears. Can you spare just one? I haven’t eaten for seven days.” The pear merchant, alarmed and angered, tried to chase the beggar away by calling him names and threatening to beat him.
 
The local policeman came by to look into the commotion. Felling sorry for the beggar, the policeman bought a pear and gave it to the beggar. The beggar thanked the policeman, shoke his hand, and started to dig a hole. Confused, the policeman asked the beggar if he was going to eat the pear.
“Oh, no, Sir. You’ve given me a magic pear. I’m going to burry it and it will grow into a huge tree,” replied the beggar as he continued to dig his hole. The people in the market gathered around and watched the beggar burry the fruit. When the last handful of dirt was placed back in the hole, the beggar sat down and chanted.
The eyes of the crowded widened and was followed by many OH’s and AH’s for just as soon as the beggar sat down, a tiny green sprout emerged from the dirt, climbing up and up, thicker and stronger, when the sprout reached three feet tall, it grew branches. On those branches, leaves filled the void. And at the end of it branch, many pears sprouted. There were so many of them that the beggar had to stand up and pick the fruit, or else the tree would collapse.
The beggar with pear in his arms, started to give away his pears. “I have so many pears and I want to share with everyone who doen’t have any.” When all the pears were gone and eaten, the beggar took a long knife from his bag and chopped down the magic tree. Everyone thanked the beggar for the show and for sharing, including the pear merchant. The beggar smile and walked away.
As soon as the crowd died down, the pear merchant walked back to his cart. To his surprise, all of his pears were gone. The beggar had given them all away. The pear merchant’s cart had a handle missing. The beggar had chopped it off. The pear merchant sat down on his empty, broken cart and cried.

PROCEDURE


PATTY CAKES
Ingredients
3 tablespoons butter                                      1 cup of self raising flour
1 egg                                                               ¼ teaspoon vanilla
pinch salt                                                        ¼ cup milk
Method
Beat butter and sugar to a cream
Add lightly beaten egg and vanilla. Beat well.
Stir flour and salt together.
Fold in dry ingredients alternately with milk and mix well.
Drop heaped teaspoonfuls of mixture into well-greased patty tins or papers.
Bake in a moderate oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack.
Ice with butter icing
The patty cakes is ready to serve

So far, we  have shopped a lot. I bought some T.shirt and hundreds of wooden accesaries. My mam bought a beautiful ststue and my father bought a large paintin. The paintin is not only beautiful but also very expensive.
I will return to Malang next week hope to see you again soon.

NARRATIVE

Purpose : To amuse or entertain the readers with actual or imaginary experiences in difference ways.

Narratives always deal with some problem which lead to the climax and then turn into a solution to the problem.

Tex organization

cerita itu (when) dan dimana cerita itu ( where )
2.Complication (unculnya konlik atau masalah )
3.Resolution (pemecahan masalah )

Language Features

Narratives texts may include folktales, myths, legends, etc.

A myth is a traditional story with may describe the origins of the world, a place, and/or of people. it is considered a true scared story in the remote past.

A legend is a true story primary about human heroes in the recent past and many feature some religious references

A folktale is a story which is regarded as fiction. It can be a non-scared fiction story that occur ‘ once upon time and features human and non- human characters

A folklore is a collection of fiction tales about people and/or animals. It includes myths and tales

Jadi recount text bisa diartikan sebagai "Text yang menceritakan kembali apa yangterjadi".
Sehingga recount text adalah sebuah teks yang menceritakan sebuah cerita, aksi ataupun aktifitas yang terjadi pada waktu yang lalu.

Tujuan recount text adalah untuk menghibur atau menceritakan penngalaman; bisa pengalaman penulis atau orang lain (to retell someone's experience)

"Orientation" menceritakan siapa saja yang terlibat dalam cerita, apa yang terjadi, di mana tempat peristiwa terjadi, dan kapan terjadi peristiwanya

Last week I went to east Java for holiday. I stayed at my uncle’s house at Cemara Lawang Probolinggo. It has a big garden with lots of colorful flowers and a fish pond.

The next day my aunt my uncle and I saw Gunung Batok and went on scenic ride on horseback. It was scary. Then we went to get a closer look at the mountain. We took a picture of beautiful sceneries there.

In the afternoon we went home. It was fun.

Bandengan Beach
Bandengan Beach or Tirta Samudra Beach is the famous beach in jepara. the place is very beautiful and romantic. people around Jepara, Kudus, Demak knows this place.

This place is located 7 kilometers north of Jepara city center. The way to get there is very easy. Just follow the traffic sign and you will find it. From the town square, follow the road to Bangsri then turn left when reached kuwasen village. You can take public transportation or by your own vehicle.

The white sandy beach which has pure water is good for swimming. The beach is save enough for swimming because the beach is shallow and the wave is not so big. This place is more beautiful at dusk. We can see the beautiful sunset with our family or friends.

In this location, we can sit and relax on the shelter while enjoy the natural beach breezy wind. It also has large pandan tree field. It is suitable for youngster activities such as camping.

If we want to sail, we can rent the traditional boat owned by local people. We can make voyage around the beach or we can go to pulau panjang (panjang island). Some time we can find banana boat and jet ski for rent.

In this place we can find many traditional footstalls. We can order traditional foods sold by the trader such as roasted fish, crab, boiled shell. Pindang srani is one of the delicious food enjoyed by the visitors.

MODEL PEMBELAJARAN

Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Two Stay Two Stray

Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TS-TS) dikembangkan oleh
Spencer Kagan. Metode ini bisa digunakan dalam semua mata pelajaran dan untuk semua
tingkatan usia peserta didik. Metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two tray
merupakan sistem pembelajaran kelompok dengan tujuan agar siswa dapat saling
bekerjasama, bertanggung jawab, saling membantu memecahkan masalah dan saling
mendorong untuk berprestasi. Metode ini juga melatih siswa untuk bersosialisasi dengan baik.
Lie (dalam Yusritawati, 2009:14) menyatakan, “Struktur Two Stay Two Stray yaitu
memberi kelompok untuk membagikan hasil dan informasi dengan kelompok lain”.
Adapun langkah-langkah pelaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two
Stray seperti yang diungkapkan, antara lain:
1. Guru membagi siswa dalam beberapa kelompok yang setiap kelompoknya terdiri
dari empat siswa.
Kelompok yang dibentuk pun merupakan kelompok heterogen seperti pada
pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray yang bertujuan untuk memberikan
kesempatan pada siswa untuk saling membelajarkan (Peer Tutoring) dan saling
mendukung.
2. Guru memberikan sub pokok bahasan pada tiap-tiap kelompok untuk dibahas
bersama-sama dengan anggota kelompoknya masing-masing.
3. Siswa bekerjasama dalam kelompok beranggotakan empat orang.
Hal ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk dapat terlibat
secara aktif dalam proses berpikir.
4. Setelah selesai, dua orang dari masing-masing kelompok meninggalkan kelompoknya
untuk bertamu ke kelompok lain.

5. Dua orang yang tinggal dalam kelompok bertugas membagikan hasil kerja dan
informasi mereka ke tamu mereka.
6. Tamu mohon diri dan kembali ke kelompok mereka sendiri dan melaporkan temuan
mereka dari kelompok lain.
7. Kelompok mencocokkan dan membahas hasil-hasil kerja mereka.
8. Masing-masing kelompok mempresentasikan hasil kerja mereka.
Terdapat beberapa kendala yang biasanya selalu muncul dalam penerapan metode
pembelajaran TS-TS ini berdasarkan pengalaman saya di lapangan, adalah sebagai
berikut:
Alokasi waktu.
Penerapan metode TS-TS membutuhkan banyak waktu dalam pelaksanaannya
dibandingkan dengan menggunakan metode konvensional. Dimulai dari persiapan
pembagian kelompok, diskusi dan presentasi siswa. Guru harus benar-benar bisa
mengelola alokasi waktu pembelajaran dengan baik sehingga, pembelajaran tidak
sia-sia dan materi ajar tersampaikan.

Solusi:
Bila tidak memungkinkan semua kelompok untuk mempresentasikan hasil kerja mereka
di depan kelas, cukup beberapa kelompok (2-3 kelompok) saja yang
mempresentasikannya, atau tergantung sisa waktu yang tersedia. Hasil kerja sisa
kelompok yang lain bisa dikumpulkan sebagai tugas dan mendapat giliran tampil di
pertemuan selanjutnya.
2. Pelaksanaan pada saat bertamu.
Guru harus benar-benar menerangkan kepada siswa mengenai maksud dan tujuan dari
bertamu. Siswa terkadang masih kebingungan untuk saling bertukar informasi
dengan kelompok lain. Karena tujuan dari berbagi informasi disini bukan untuk
mencontek hasil jawaban dari kelompok lain.

Solusi:
Setiap kelompok sebaiknya diberi materi yang berbeda. Sehingga benar-benar
terjadi pertukaran informasi yang bukan sekedar mencontek jawaban dalam kegiatan
diskusi.
Hal ini juga berguna untuk mengatasi masalah alokasi waktu tadi, agar tujuan
pembelajaran cepat tercapai oelh siswa.
3. Pembagian kelompok.
Pembagian kelompok sangat berpengaruh dalam suatu diskusi agar tidak tumpang
tindih antara siswa kelompok tinggi dan siswa kelompok rendah. Kelompok siswa
sebaiknya dibentuk secara heterogen, misalnya satu kelompok terdiri dari 1 siswa
berkemampuan tinggi, 2 siswa berkemampuan sedang, dan 1 siswa berkemampuan
rendah).

Dan hasilnya adalah metode pembelajaran ini bisa dijadikan sebagai alternatif
pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di sekolah. Terutama untuk ketr ampilan membaca
komprehensive beberapa sub pokok bahasan. Sehingga tujuan pembelajaran cepat
tercapai, siswa menjadi lebih mengerti dan membuat suasana menyenangkan dalam
pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang biasanya dianggap membosankan oleh siswa. TS-TS
cocok untuk meningkatkan komunikasi dan hubungan antar siswa di kelas.
